Nereus spotlight on Joe Saylor, Account Supervisor

Joe Saylor is a native Oregonian who grew up on a ranch in the small town of Echo, Oregon. He enjoys the wide variety of climates and environments that Oregon has to offer, but loves the sun and warmth in Palm Springs and Hawaii.

Joe has been public relations professional for more than 15 years. With a fondness for journalism since childhood, he has worked as a broadcast TV personality and also as a PR freelancer, although he much prefers the %u201Cnormal%u201D working hours of PR over the 4:00 a.m. start time in broadcast TV. He enjoys working with companies that understand the value of PR and marketing and that are willing to take a risk. His favorite aspect of PR is being down in the trenches, working to create tangible results that delight his clients. While at Nereus, he was a key player in helping to launch SuperSpeed USB.

Joe and his wife Sandi recently welcomed their new baby boy Sam into their family. Being a new dad is both exhausting and energizing for Joe, but most of all, it%u2019s rewarding. He%u2019s already looking forward to adding more little Saylor%u2019s to the household.

When not at work, Joe, a self-proclaimed sports junkie, belongs to the Portland Football Officials Association and looks forward to officiating high school football each autumn. He loves movies, music, dining out and Oregon Ducks football.
