Claire joined the Nereus team in 2009 and has been integral in supporting several technologies and consortia clients. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin in public relations, Claire has accrued extensive experience in writing, planning, media relations, event coordination and social media. Her previous experience comes from stints at global public relations firm, Fleishman-Hillard, and local Austin, Texas, boutique agency, Tate-Austin-Hahn PR. Though well-versed in several facets of the PR industry including telecommunications, culinary, nonprofit and public affairs, Claire has chosen to pursue her primary interest, technology. Claire brings a fresh perspective and enthusiasm to the Nereus team and offers vital support in drafting client materials, conducting media relations outreach, and researching and securing public speaking opportunities. A recent resident of Portland, Claire moved from her home state, Texas, in October and now enjoys the diverse west-coast activities; skiing during the winter months and soaking in the sun, hiking and day-tripping on the warmer days.
